Jin Canrong is a state-honored “Chang Jiang Scholar” Professor. He is the Associate Dean with the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. 

Our second principle is that we oppose resolving the crisis through war. Thus, the first principle is “no nuclear weapons,” and the second is “no war.” War brings chaos, and if chaos erupts, China’s northeastern region would suffer greatly. Our third principle is that any resolution must not harm China’s national interests.
