Jin Canrong is a state-honored “Chang Jiang Scholar” Professor. He is the Associate Dean with the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. 

Chinese diplomacy consists of four main components: major power diplomacy, neighboring diplomacy, diplomacy with developing countries, and diplomacy within multilateral international organizations. Among these, the most crucial and impactful for China’s future development are major power diplomacy and neighboring diplomacy.
