Jin Canrong is a state-honored “Chang Jiang Scholar” Professor. He is the Associate Dean with the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. 

During the British Raj period, encouraged by the British forces, India’s sphere of influence began to expand northward, crossing the traditional boundaries between Tibet and India in both the East and the West.This expansion planted the earliest seeds for future Sino-Indian conflicts, setting the stage for later confrontations.
