A gateway for understanding the whys and hows of China

About the Instructor
Christopher Kutarna
Founder of NewGeo. Fellow of the Oxford Martin School and Oxford Saïd Business School.

China’s goal over the next decade is to bring the next 400 million people into middle-income hood and into consumer society and the umbrella policy of the party’s top leaders for doing that is common prosperity.

Another critical dimension for understanding China’s future economic trajectory is the green economy. China, with 18% of the world’s population, relies on only 10% of the farmland and 7% of the fresh water. This imbalance means that even slight environmental disruptions can cause significant scarcity and problems throughout China’s economy.
