On the afternoon of April 9, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a regular press conference. A reporter asked about the 104% tariff imposed by the United States on China.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized that the legitimate development rights of the Chinese people must not be undermined, and China’s sovereignty, security, and development interests must not be infringed.
