    1. Sachs is the guy who, after The Wall came down, thought the Eastern European economies were doing great even if the people suffered. That’s either venal or incompetent, but he’s not someone to be taken seriously. Good for entertainment since humans find disaster–real or perceived–entertaining.

    2. That said, any nation’s top politicians could run circles around imbecile Trump, not just the Chinese.
      Sach’s argument that throwing Taiwan under the bus would stabilize world peace may, even probably, is wrong. Why should China stop there? They’ve always wanted Australia.
