Anthony (Tony) Monteiro teaches in the African American Studies Department at Temple University. He is a scholar and an activist. He writes in areas having to do with W.E.B. DuBois Studies, Marxism and race. He lives in Philadelphia where he is active in social, economic and political struggles.
