Thank you for the review of Lingang.
I get no sense the place is “futuristic” unless cameras, repetitious architecture and tree supports where they are clearly not needed (ie for large trees) is the future. The surroundings seem contrived as thrown-up housing, lacking the detail and interest found in organically developed urban areas built over the long term. I suppose this is to be expected, but it not a place that could be considered appealing. Clean is good for hospitals, real life should be at least slightly messy.
