Recently, China’s Dali (Hull 553) and Chenzhou (Hull 552), two Type 054A guided-missile frigates (NATO reporting name: Jiangkai II-class) from a naval detachment under China’s PLA Southern Theater Command, carried out realistic maritime combat training. The exercise included alongside maneuvering and ship-helicopter coordination, aiming to enhance system-based operational capabilities under blue-water conditions.
